Author Guidelines

The Journal of Agentic Intelligence in Medical Sciences (JAIMS) considers for publication original, high-quality, and unpublished manuscripts that are not under consideration elsewhere. All authors must meet the authorship criteria defined by the journal:

  • Significant contribution to the concept, design, execution, or interpretation of the research
  • Involvement in drafting or critical revision of the manuscript
  • Final approval of the version to be published
  • Agreement to be accountable for all aspects of the work

The corresponding author must confirm that all co-authors have approved the final manuscript and consented to submission. Ghost authorship, honorary authorship, and plagiarism are strictly prohibited.

Before Submission

Authors must review the journal’s scope, policies, and ethical guidelines before submission. Manuscripts must meet the following requirements:

  • Originality: Must not be published or under review elsewhere
  • Permissions: Authors must obtain permissions for any third-party material
  • Authorship: All authors must approve the submission
  • Ethics Approval: Required for studies involving human or animal subjects
  • Declaration Form: Must be submitted at the time of manuscript submission

Manuscript Preparation

All manuscripts must be submitted through the JAIMS online journal system.

  • Manuscripts must be written in clear and concise English
  • JAIMS publishes research articles, review papers, and interdisciplinary studies
  • All submissions are subject to language editing and formatting review

1. Cover Letter

Each submission must include a cover letter containing:

  • Statement confirming originality and exclusive submission
  • Confirmation that all authors have approved the manuscript
  • Disclosure of any ethical issues or conflicts of interest
  • Statement regarding APC payment commitment (if accepted)

2. Manuscript Template

Authors are required to follow the JAIMS manuscript template (to be provided on the journal website). Submissions not adhering to formatting guidelines may be returned for correction.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

As an Open Access journal, JAIMS requires an APC for accepted articles:

  • Pakistan-based authors: PKR 00,000
  • International authors: USD 000

✔ No submission, page, or color charges
✔ APC is payable only after acceptance

Fee Waiver Policy

JAIMS offers fee waivers for eligible students:

  • Request must be made before submission
  • Proof of enrollment is required
  • Waivers are granted on a case-by-case basis

Payment Instructions

Payment details will be shared after manuscript acceptance.

Important Notes:

  • Payments must be made to the official journal account only
  • No personal accounts are used
  • Include Paper ID or Corresponding Author Name in reference
